Changing the stock material, resin, into ultra-lightweight high quality dry carbon fiber, improves the aesthetics as well as the quality that the stock GT-R originally has. The use of dry carbon twill weave material for this carbon grill is for it's functionally and stylish looks, and the clear coat finish protects the carbon from ultraviolet radiation for excellent drivability.  Since the shape is same as the stock one, the installation is possible without any modification.
